Porto in Portugal is one of the 15 global cities Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff’s action entertainer War has been shot at. The movie, also starring Vaani Kapoor, will see the two heroes pitted against each other in a ferocious showdown. Now, we have learnt that while filming a massive action sequence there, the city’s largest bridge called Porto was shut down for two whole days.
Director Siddharth Anand says, “We shot an intense, high-speed action sequence between Hrithik and Tiger. The scene required Tiger to chase down Hrithik and this extensive sequence required us to get permission to shut down the main bridge at Porto for two days. The local authorities were extremely supportive, and we got all due clearances to shoot this adrenaline-pumping scene.”
The director added that the locals were stunned! “They had never seen their city in lockdown mode ever. They were super-curious and came to see which film had locked down their bridge. Their reactions were priceless because they were amazed seeing the kind of high-octane action that Hrithik and Tiger were performing,” informs Siddharth.
