THE LION KING collected a good 1.75 crore nett on its third Friday but it is a bigger drop compared to last Friday. There was a big Hollywood release with FAST & FURIOUS: HOBBS & SHAW which is why THE LION KING has taken a bigger hit this week. The film should be strong again on Saturday and Sunday but it does not look like going much higher than 150 crore nett now.
The collections of THE LION KING till date are as follows.
Week One - 80,94,00,000
Week Two- 44,00,00,000 apprx
Friday - 1,75,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 1,26,69,00,000 aprrx
SUPER 30 is maintaining well with collections around the 1 crore nett mark on its fourth Friday. The drop is in the same range as last week which means the film has chances to hit the 140 crore nett mark at the end of the week. It should cross the business of GULLY BOY by the end of the fourth weekend.
The collections of SUPER 30 till date are as follows.
Week One - 75,58,00,000
Week Two - 37,85,00,000
Week Three - 17,96,00,000
Friday - 1,00,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 1,32,39,00,000 apprx
