THE LION KING is super strong as it dropped just 35% on its second Monday from the second Friday. The film is looking at a second week figure of around 44 crore nett which would mean a drop of under 50% for week two. The film will comfortably cross the 150 crore nett mark and maybe end around 160 crore nett though it remains to be seen how it performs over the next two weeks.
The collections of THE LION KING till date are as follows.
Week One - 80,94,00,000
Friday - 5,25,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 12,00,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 15,00,00,000 apprx
Monday - 3,25,00,000 apprx

SUPER 30 grossed 1.50 crore net on its third Monday and is looking at a third week of 17.50-18 crore nett. These would be the third best numbers of 2019 after URI and KABIR SINGH beating the figures of films like TOTAL DHAMAAL, KESARI and DE DE PYAAR DE.
The targets for the film are to beat GULLY BOY at 134.75 crore nett and then to beat BANG BANG to become the second highest Hrithik Roshan nett grosser. The former will happen though the latter could be tough.
