SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME did well on Saturday as collections went up around 40% for a three day weekend total of 30 crore nett plus. The film has done well over three days but it remains to be seen where the business goes on Monday.
The Saturday number is still lower than the first day of CAPTAIN MARVEL which went to 86 crore nett in its lifetime total in March this year. These weekend numbers should be good enough to make it the highest grossing SPIDER-MAN film in India but footfalls will probably be not higher than the last film HOMECOMING unless Monday is very strong.
The film will be probably the third highest grosser for Hollywood this year in India after AVENGERS: ENDGAME and CAPTAIN MARVEL.
The business of SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME till date is as follows.
Thursday - 9,75,00,000 apprx
Friday - 8,50,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 12,00,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 30,25,00,000 apprx
