Rumour has it that cricketer K L Rahul and actress Athiya Shetty are dating. Apparently, the couple has kept their relationship under wraps for now. Rahul and Suniel Shetty’s daughter are often spotted at their common friends’ house parties leading people to believe that they are more than just friends.

Interestingly, it was also speculated that Rahul was seeing Alia Bhatt’s bestie Akansha Ranjan Kapoor. Turns out, the aspiring actress, who is also Athiya’s friend, was the one who introduced the two and played cupid. What fueled the rumour further was Akanksha’s Instagram post featuring the three with the caption, “I'm so good with that.”

However, a source close to Athiya and Rahul said, “They are best friends and are fond of each other, but they are not dating right now.”

Previously, Rahul was linked to actress Nidhhi Agerwal and model Elixir Nahar, while last year, there were rumours of Athiya and Canadian rapper Drake’s friendship after the two shared some cute banter on social media.
