SHADAA hit another record on Tuesday as it recorded the highest ever Tuesday for Punjabi films edging out CARRY ON JATTA 2 by 5-6 lakhs nett. The film has now the highest total ever for each of its first five days and is sure to be an all time record for the week.

The film has collected almost 13.75 crore so far in five days and should easily cross the 17 crore nett mark for the week. The record is 16.20 crore nett of CARRY ON JATTA 2. The test will come on the second Friday because if the numbers are in the vicinity of CARRY ON JATTA 2 on its second Friday, then it will probably go on and become the highest grosser ever.

There is also the factor than SHADAA has faced competition from a blockbuster Hindi film like KABIR SINGH while CARRY ON JATTA 2 had more or less a clean run till two weeks when RACE 3 released. There were Hindi films but not the sort that threaten the collections of a big Punjabi film.

Saturday - 3,05,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 3,60,00,000 apprx
Monday - 2,35,00,000 apprx
Tuesday - 2,10,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 13,70,00,000 apprx

SHADAA is double or treble the business of KABIR SINGH (which itself is a huge HIT) in all the cities of Punjab except Chandigarh where it is 50% ahead of KABIR SINGH.
