Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone was recently snapped with supermodel Kendall Jenner at a charity event in New York. The two were attending a fundraiser for the Anxiety Youth Center dinner. Deepika cut an elegant look, dressed in a black fringed pantsuit, and was all smiles with Kendall, who chose to wear a yellow bodycon dress. At the event, the Padmaavat actress spoke about the need for mental health awareness, a cause which is very close to her heart. Later, in her Instagram story, she uploaded a photo of her and Kendall and wrote, “I had the pleasure of meeting this beautiful soul ... I wish you all the joy in the world and peace of mind ... always! @kendalljenner.”

The actress also shared a few other pictures dressed in her suit, and captioned one of them as, “Mental illness has presented society with a very tough challenge... But my experience with the illness has taught me so much; to be patient for one...but most importantly that there is ‘Hope’!.... (sic)”
