After working together on Shahid, Citylights, Aligarh, Bose: Dead/Alive and Omerta, Rajkummar Rao and Hansal Mehta have started shooting for their sixth collaboration, titled Turram Khan, which features Nushrat Bharucha as the leading lady. “It’s a small-town fun film. I think Hansal sir is hilarious and I’m glad that he’s finally making a comedy,” Raj had earlier told Mirror (September 20, 2018), adding that he is reuniting with the actress eight years after they appeared in Dibakar Banerjee’s LSD: Love Sex Aur Dhokha.

Over the weekend, Mirror photographer Raju Shelar caught the actor-filmmaker duo shooting for a kabaddi sequence at Film City. They were accompanied by Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, who features in the film as well. For the sequence, the makers have flown down kids from Haryana to be a part of the film’s kabaddi teams, one of which is coached by Raj’s character. Shooting began early in the day and went on till early evening. Nushrat, who is romantically paired with Raj in the film, was spotted cheering for his onscreen team.
