BHARAT did very well on Saturday at the box office as it collected 25 crore nett on Saturday and showed solid growth of 20% even though some centres were coming off the Eid period and showed drops in collections. It was very important for the film to have an upward trajectory on Saturday and at multiplexes it was very good growth in all the big cities.
The collections of the film are 118 crore nett in four days and it would be looking at a weekend around the 150 crore nett mark but there is a big cricket match which could leave it towards the 145 crore nett mark. Also the appreciation in mass is less than the bigger centers but mass centers have been strong over Eid so may not show the normal big Sunday growth.
Wherever the final extended weekend lands, it will be a big number and with Saturday going up the film has found some appreciation. It may not be universal but if the film had no appreciation then the collections would have continued the downward slide on Saturday or remained flat.
The collections of BHARAT over the first three days are as follow
Wednesday - 41,75,00,000 apprx
Thursday - 30,00,00,000 apprx
Friday - 21,25,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 25,00,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 118,25,00,000 apprx
The four day numbers ensure BHARAT is a success and it is on course to be a HIT or maybe even better depending on how well it can hold over the next ten days or so.
