Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif were in their elements when they turned up on Kapil Sharma’s show to promote their Eid release, Bharat. Making a larger-than-life entry on a bike, the actor joked, “Bharat needs to make triple the money of Tubelight this Eid.”
As the show progressed, Salman admitted to being a mischievous kid and recalled how when he was in fourth standard, his teacher would often throw him out of the classroom. “Once my father (Salim Khan) was passing by and seeing me out on the corridor asked exasperatedly what mischief I had got up to now. I confessed that even I didn’t know the reason this time,” he recounted, adding that his father eventually learnt that it was because his fees was overdue. “The very next day my father paid the fees and the teacher apologized.”
When prodded by Kapil on his relationship with the kids in his Khan-daan, he laughed, “All my nephews, nieces and grandsons have at different times peed on me,” he said.
Katrina enjoyed this meandering down memory lane and when it was time to dance, matched steps with Krushna Abhishek to her Agneepath chartbuster “Chikni Chameli” while Salman performed solo on “Slow Motion”.
MEANWHILE...AGE NO BAR FOR BHAI
While interacting with Mirror (May 28), Disha Patani had admitted that she agreed to a special appearance in Bharat because she wasn’t sure if she’d get to work with Salman Khan again because of the age difference between the two. “In Bharat, it is acceptable because that portion shows Salman sir in his 20s and 30s so, it was an immediate yes,” the 26-year-old actress had said.
A day later, responding to Disha’s comment, Salman told ETimes, “What age difference she is saying? I am doing a film with a 17-year-old now.”
