Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal, who were romantically paired in Anurag Kashyap’s first love story, Manmarziyaan, last year, recently reunited for a Colors Infinity chat show. And while they exchanged notes on their close camaraderie that took shape during their 2018 release, the conversation assumed a particularly candid tone when it was time for trick questions. When asked to name the biggest diva that she has worked with, Taapsee said it would be her Judwaa 2 co-star Varun Dhawan “hands down”. “Varun will do push-ups just before a shot and makes sure everything is proper. If he doesn’t like a close-up shot, he’ll be like, ‘No! I think I can do it better.’ I’d have to tell him to calm down,” she revealed.
When asked about the last time she “got drunk and made a fool of herself,” Taapsee clarified that “such a phenomenon occurs once or twice a year, but when it happens, it is very embarrassing.” The last time was during Manmarziyaan’s wrap-up party. “Both Vicky and I got too drunk and we were lying in the garden. I was like, ‘This is where I will sleep tonight’,” the actress informed.
Elaborating on the incident, Vicky shared that said garden was a part of the hotel the film’s team was staying at during an outdoor schedule. “All of us would go there for walks after dinner every day. That night, Taapsee flat-out refused to leave, saying she wanted to crash there. I had to say, ‘Main jaa raha hoon’ to convince her to leave,” the actor added.
