AVENGERS: ENDGAME had a huge second weekend with collections going over 50 crore nett. If we look at the Hindi film industry and then there have been five films to go over 50 crore nett for the second weekend (DANGAL, PK, SANJU, BAJRANGI BHAIJAAN, TIGER ZINDA HAI). Outside the Hindi film industry there are three films (BAAHUBALI 2: THE BEGINNING, BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONCLUSION and 2.0).

The drop for AVENGERS: ENDGAME is 67% from the first weekend and you have to take as its under 70% for a film which is going to be front loaded. The total so far is 310 crore nett plus and the ticket rates will come down to normal weekday levels from Monday onward. The film is probably targeting the 375 crore nett mark as there is competition in the Hindi markets from Friday onward and contribution from the South is less now compared to the initial days.
