It’s that time of the year when summer temperatures peak. And, it’s also that time of the year when Akshay Kumar heads for his annual hydrotherapy treatment. The Bollywood superstar, who is on a career-high after delivering three Rs 100-crore movies back-to-back, is scheduled to fly out in three days to begin the treatment. A source says, “Akshay is one of the most agile actors in Indian cinema. Though he is 51, he is still considered to be an international Khiladi on screen because of the stunts he delivers. Even in Kesari, he has done some spectacular ‘live’ action including rope climbing. Of course, at the end of the day, his physical form does wear thin. In a bid to rejuvenate and restore his muscles, and bring his body to optimum form, he has taken to hydrotherapy.” Every year, he visits Germany to follow the same under expert care. The source adds, “He undergoes the treatment required by most international and desi actors, who do stunts in their movies.”
