URI got a boost in collections of around 30-35% on Tuesday even though there was no holiday or even partial holiday. It is likely that the present situation in the country with the events in the film happening for real probably revived more interest in the film. It is very rare for a film to go up this much on Tuesday without a holiday. Especially as the other films around it saw a drop in collections.

The film has now collected almost 236 crore nett and now has also become the first film in history to breach the 5 crore nett mark in week seven.

The recent events and present issues with Pakistan could actually see the film doing even better and holding up for longer. The timing of release of this film has added a little on the collections.
