GULLY BOY went up around 80% on its second Saturday to collect around 6.75 crore nett. The metro crowd was back in numbers on Saturday and the total of the film went to 109 crore nett which means it has crossed the total of BARFI to become the highest grosser for a film working in five metros only. BARFI was 6 years back so GULLY BOY so still has a long way to go to catch the footfalls of that film. Also that film had a very small release compared to GULLY BOY and did its 105 crore nett from a 800 cinema release while this was around 2000.
The film has also crossed the 40 crore nett mark in Mumbai circuit and this circuit should have good legs as business is very good in Mumbai city and Pune. In the first week Mumbai/Thane collected a huge 23 crore nett which was nearly one quarter of all India.
The collections of GULLY BOY till date are as follows.
Thursday - 19,25,00,000 apprx
Friday - 12,75,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 18,50,00,000 apprx
