Salman Khan, who is currently working on his next Eid offering, Bharat, is likely to wrap it up by January 2019. The superstar’s masala entertainer, Dabangg 3, has been scheduled to release around Christmas next year.

Initially planned to kick off this September, the third instalment of Dabangg, which will be helmed by Prabhudheva, is now slated to start on April 4. Unlike its predecessors, Chulbul Pandey’s third outing is inspired by a real-life police officer. This time around, the makers will ditch Wai/Satara (where the earlier two movies were shot) for North Indian locales like Noida and Ghaziabad. Says a source, “After completing Bharat, Salman wants to set his plans for its post-production into motion and simultaneously finalise the production schedule for Dabangg 3. In the meanwhile, he, along with his family, will also take a call on whether Salman Khan Films will be the sole producer or present it and his brother Arbaaz’s company be named as the producer.”
