A few weeks ago, Sara Ali Khan mentioned on Koffee With Karan that she would like to ‘date Kartik Aaryan’. While abba Saif Ali Khan insisted that she’d always wanted to tie the knot with Ranbir Kapoor, the 23-year-old actress later clarified on a radio show, “Ranbir’s great, however, I don’t want to marry him. I must have said that three to four years ago. But yes, I’d still love to date Kartik.” She even asked the RJ to pass on her address to the Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety (SKTKS) hero. Since then, wherever the newbie has gone for interviews, she’s been quizzed about it and her response has remained the same.

Kartik had not reacted to her statement, until now. Recently, when he was asked about Sara’s comments at an event, the SKTKS actor was left flummoxed. However, when we met him, he did have a message for the debutante. “I’m waiting for her address,” he said cheekily. When we asked him if their paths had ever crossed before, he told us, “Yes, we just exchanged hellos at a party. That’s all. She’s lovely and I wish her the best for Kedarnath.”

The two youngsters will team up for Imtiaz Ali’s next, which is reportedly planned as a sequel to Love Aaj Kal. The film goes on floors in February 2019.
