2.0 (Hindi) saw a drop in business in the third week as it collected 9 crore nett and this took its total to 184 crore nett in three weeks. The film has exhausted its run and there is not much more to come. Its probably looking to add around 2-3 crore nett more for a finish of 186-187 crore nett.
The film is a SUPER HIT film across as every circuit has done very good business. Mumbai is around 54 crore nett while Delhi/UP has crossed 40 crore nett. East Punjab is around 17.50 crore nett. Bihar is around 10 crore nett and will become the third or fourth highest grossing film ever in this circuit.
The daily collections of 2.0 (Hindi) till date are as follows
Week One - 1,37,50,00,000 apprx
Week Two - 37,50,00,000 apprx
Week Three - 9,00,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 1,84,00,00,000 apprx
Overall the film is third biggest film of South India of all time and that is if we take adjusted collections. It is behind the two BAAHUBALI films which are the biggest ever films from South India in terms of adjusted collections.
The fourth biggest in terms of adjusted collections will be HINDUSTANI (1996, INDIAN in the South) and this film is from the same director of 2.0. It shows how far apart S S Rajamouli and S Shankar are from the rest and are the biggest directors ever seen in the South.
We have a different showing in Hindi cinema as none of the leading directors of the day have any film which would be among the biggest of all time.
