Just before she flags off her next, Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari’s Panga, Kangana Ranaut dashed off to Manali to bring in the festival of lights with her family up in the hill. This will be her first Diwali in her new house which she has named Kartik Nivas. The actress is also building an Ambika Devi mandir in Himachal and is personally overseeing its progress.
Once she returns from the three-day trip, she will resume edit work on Manikarnika. Panga will start on November 9 in Bhopal. It’s a 25-day schedule.
Talking about her home visit, a delighted Kangana told Mirror, “My entire family will come together this Diwali. My brother is introducing us to his girlfriend and making the relationship official, so we wanted to be together on this special day. It’s also my nephew Prithvi Raj’s first Diwali. Since he’s just a baby we will avoid noisy crackers.”
It’s snowing in Manali and the actress is carrying her favourite vintage wine. “My grand piano, a song and wine is my idea of a party so in a sense I will be partying this Diwali,” she said.
