DeepVeer’s wedding can officially be called the event of the year. All eyes are on the private wedding being held at Lake Como, Italy. Ranveer Singh is known to wear his emotions on the sleeve and even while he was taking off from Mumbai airport, the actor high on energy, and in total filmi style, had the song Mehendi Laga Ke Rakhna playing on his portable speaker all along.

No surprises then, that at their engagement ceremony on Monday evening, Ranveer was at his romantic best when he went down on his knees, asking for the hand of his lady-love. The ceremony was a sit-down family dinner and the couple exchanged rings soon after. Ranveer then followed up with an emotional speech and professed his love for Deepika. Understandably, an emotional Deepika couldn’t hold her emotions and tears rolled down her cheeks.

The couple looked their stylish best as Deepika donned an off-white dress and Ranveer wore a black suit. Their exclusive wedding is being organised by Aditya Motwane and the decorations are being handled by Vandana Mohan. Only close family and friends are a part of the marriage ceremonies in Italy right now. There will also be a lavish reception in Mumbai on November 28 and December 1.
