Karan Johar’s team has locked another fresh pairing for the sixth season of their chat show Koffee With Karan (KWK).

Our source reveals, “All of Karan’s protégés have already shot their episodes, except Sidharth Malhotra. He was always supposed to make an appearance, but the makers didn’t know who to team him up with. Now, he will be seen on the show with Aditya Roy Kapur. The two actors, who are buddies, share a warm bond and even work out together. So, there will be a lot of boy talk when they shoot for KWK.”

The filmmaker’s other students have already finished filming their episodes. While Alia Bhatt opened the show with Deepika Padukone, Varun Dhawan shared the couch with his would-be co-star Katrina Kaif.

For those who tuned in late, Sid and Adi bonded when they were on the Dream Team, the international concert tour in 2016. Karan, who was also part of it, knew about their dosti and it was his suggestion to bring the boys as a team on his show. Our source adds, “Sid and Adi are currently single. So, KJo will definitely touch upon that topic.”
