Nameeta Prakash, who has served as an assistant Director on several films, including Manorama Six Feet Under, levelled sexual misconduct allegations against veteran stunt director Sham Kaushal. Prakash recounted her #MeToo experience in a Facebook post, saying, “Back in 2006, on an outdoor shoot, Sham Kaushal, the famous and award-winning Bollywood stunt director decided that I should be going to his room after wrap to drink vodka. the sound of that was just so wrong that I lied to him and told him that I don’t drink at all. He tried to insist by saying that I didn’t know what I was missing out on and when I stood my ground, he picked up his phone and suddenly plugged it in front of me with a porn MMS video playing on it. He said he bought this from the streets of Bangkok for 10 Baht. All I did was pretend that someone had paged me on the walkie-talkie and walked away. I told my line producer about it within half an hour... but she didn’t know what she could do at that time. But she made sure I was never along with the stunt team again.”

Sham Kaushal remained unavailable for comment till the time of this paper going to press.
