Varun Dhawan and Katrina Kaif will most likely star in Remo D’Souza’s ambitious dance film. But much before the movie goes on floors (it is meant to kick-start early next year), they will make an appearance together on Karan Johar’s Koffee With Karan (KWK). Reveals a source working on the show, “Varun and Katrina will be sharing a coffee date with KJo. Both of them make for an interesting pair and have never shared the same stage before. When Karan was sitting with the chat show’s team and ideating which guests could accompany Varun or Katrina, he thought of getting them together instead.”

Our source further added, “Both the actors have known each other for a long time and share a great equation, so they agreed instantly. They will probably shoot the episode in a week or two.”

Last year on KWK, Katrina had funnily revealed that Varun along with Arjun Kapoor had started a ‘We Hate Katrina Club’ after Salman Khan had pulled up the Sui Dhaaga hero for checking her out, who happened to be his then-girlfriend. Knowing Karan, expect him to bring up the topic again this time, and we might finally have an answer to what actually transpired between the two, 15 years ago.

So far, Saif Ali Khan-Sara Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor-Janhvi Kapoor and Akshay Kumar-Ranveer Singh have shot for their episodes, but the show will premiere with Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt sharing a cuppa over a conversation on life and relationships.
