Tara Sutaria, who is set to make her debut alongside Ananya Panday and Tiger Shroff in Punit Malhotra’s Student Of The Year 2, is no longer part of what was to be her second film, the Arjun Reddy remake featuring Shahid Kapoor in the lead. The actress was forced to step out after the release of her debut film was pushed from November 23, 2018 to May 10, 2019.


Producer of the Arjun Reddy remake, Murad Khetani, confirmed the news, saying, “Yes, it is true Tara is not a part of our film anymore. Our shoot is on schedule and we should be locking our leading lady in the next couple of days.”

The film is being helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga who also directed the 2017 Telugu original.
