The Punjabi film QISMAT took a good start at the box office with GROSS collections of 1.80 crore nett apprx. The film fell a little short of the 2 crore mark but has still done well. The opening day is the third best of 2018 after CARRY ON JATTA 2 and DAKUAAN DA MUNDA but has beaten other successful films like MAR GAYE OYE LOKO and VADHAYIYAAN JI VADHAYIYAAN.

The opening is the 8th best of all time as well as being the third best of 2018. Its been a mixed year for the Punjabi film industry with CARRY ON JATTA 2 smashing all box office records on side and then some big films not living up to expectations on the other side. Also due to GST the revenue from East Punjab market has taken a hit as before it was tax free.
