Turns out, Deepika Padukone has special plans for today as the actress is organising a closed-door get-together at her residence.

Marking the World Television premiere of Padmaavat, her house help have requested for four hours of downtime (from her!) to watch the period film in the company of Queen Padmavati herself.

A source says, “They are excited to spend time with Deepika while watching Padmaavat, a film that won her accolades. The actress is known to treat her staff like extended family.” The period drama, which also stars Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh, is Deepika’s seventh Rs 100-crore film. We guess, she has to thank one of Indian cinema’s visionary filmmakers, Sanjay Leela Bhansali for this.
