Sui Dhaaga - Made In India, as expected, turns out to be a badhiya entertainer! The film is simple, sweet and makes an interesting comment about self-reliance and entrepreneurship. The characters are very well written and fleshed out. Sharat Katariya’s direction is neat and does total justice to his well-written plot. Few scenes are extremely moving and watch out for the pre-interval sequence. It’s outstanding! Same goes for the climax – it is a bit convenient and predictable. But it works big time and that’s what matters. Varun Dhawan delivers a yet another stupendous performance. He looks every inch a village simpleton and the way he is shown cycling, walking miles and going to insane lengths to succeed in his endeavour is seen to be believed. Anushka Sharma gives a powerhouse performance and has such an excellent part. She takes few scenes to dizzying heights. Raghubir Yadav,, Yamini Das, Namit Das and Puja Sarup also do very well. As for the songs, the title song and ‘Chaav Laga’ make an impact. All in all, Sui Dhaaga - Made In India is one of the must watch films of 2018. Don’t miss!
