Sridevi's death earlier this year came as a rude shock to cinephiles who lost one of the most revered stars from the industry. In a bid to pay tribute to the actor on her 55th birth anniversary today, the Information and Broadcasting Ministry's Film Division is set to screen her iconic films at the Film Division auditorium in New Delhi.
Between today and tomorrow, fans of the actor will get to witness her ventures like Mom (2017), Lamhe (1991), Mr India (1987), English Vinglish (2012) and Sadma (1983). The late actor's husband Boney Kapoor says, "This is a special moment for us. The Film Division has chosen to screen some of her finest work on her birth anniversary. The family is grateful for this tribute. Her legacy lives on."
