Angad Bedi is the latest to join the Dulquer Salmaan-Sonam Kapoor starrer The Zoya Factor, based on Anuja Chauhan’s novel of the same name.

A source from the film reveals that the actor plays the ex-captain of the Indian cricket team whom Dulquer replaces. Angad begins prep from August with the rest of the cast. The film rolls towards the year end in Mumbai.

Angad, whose father Bishan Singh Bedi was an ace off spinner and former captain of the Indian cricket team, will be taking tips from him as he plays a cricketer for the first time. The film is produced by Fox Star Studios along with Pooja and Aarti Shetty. Abhishek Sharma who made Tere Bin Laden is directing the film.
