SANJU became the highest grossing film of the year on Wednesday as it has accumulated a total of nearly 285 crore nett beating the 282 crore nett of PADMAAVAT. SANJU grossed around 6.25 crore nett on its second Tuesday.

The second week business of the film is heading for 91-92 crore nett and it will probably hit the 300 crore nett mark at the end of business on Saturday. This will make it the seventh film to hit 300 crore nett after PK, BAJRANGI BHAIJAAN, SULTAN, DANGAL, BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONCLUSION and TIGER ZINDA HAI putting it up there with the best of the decade. The footfalls look like being the lowest of all the 300 crore nett plus films with 3 crore footfalls not certain for the film.
