Priyanka Chopra, who has tasted success in the West, is scouting for some good work in Bollywood. Besides doing Bharat with Salman Khan, she is also said to be considering a film with filmmaker Shonali Bose opposite Abhishek Bachchan. And believe us when we tell you that there are a couple of other Bollywood superstars who are keen to team up with her.

One hears that for Bharat, she will reportedly be paid Rs 6.5 cr. Even at this price, she is still one of the most highly-paid female actors in B-Town.

Deepika Padukone’s Padmaavat price cheque of Rs 12 cr was a one-off thing because she had allotted 200-plus days for the historical’s shoot. Also, she played the titular role in it. Much as we would like it, pay parity between male and female actors is right now a pipe dream in Bollywood.
