A new jodi always creates excitement in the trade circles as well as among the audience. Looks like Jacqueline Fernandez and Kartik Aaryan are going to do the same now. The two actors will share screen space in the remake of the successful Kannada film Kirik Party, which was released in 2016. The film revolves around a bunch of engineering students and their journey. This is the second movie after Luka Chupi that Kartik has bagged post the success of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety.

While Kartik will essay the part played by Rakshit Shetty in the original, Jacqueline will apparently step into Rashmika Mandanna’s shoes. The movie will be helmed by director Abhishek Jain. It was earlier speculated that Sidharth Malhotra would headline the romantic drama, which would have resulted in him pairing opposite his A Gentleman co-star yet again. However, with Kartik stepping in, B-Town gets a new pair to look forward to.
