The Vidyut Jammwal-starrer Junglee, scheduled to release on October 19, will now open six months later. The 37-year-old actor shared the new release date of the Junglee Pictures production on Monday. “We will go completely junglee at the theatres with the release of our film on April 5, 2019. Come and join the madness at a theatre near you,” he tweeted.

Directed by Hollywood filmmaker Chuck Russell, who has helmed The Mask, Eraser and The Scorpion King, Junglee is about a unique relationship between a man and elephants.

Vidyut plays a veterinarian who on his homecoming to his elephant reserve, encounters and fights an international poachers racket.

Meanwhile, the other Junglee Productions film, the Ayushmann Khurrana and Sanya Malhotra starrer Badhaai Ho, directed by Amit Sharma, is now gearing up for a Dussehra release.
