Ananya Panday, who is all set to make her silver screen debut later this year with Student Of The Year 2, recently had an accident on the sets in Dehradun. The whole crew, including the other lead actors — Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria — along with director Punit Malhotra were camping in the hill station to finish the high-school drama’s first schedule.

Says a source who was present there, “Ananya had to drive a car for one of the scenes. She’s a good driver, but something went wrong and she lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a tree.” The actress and the entire team were in a state of shock when the accident occurred. But fortunately, Ananya escaped the mishap unscathed. “The team had taken proper precautions before the scene. All the safety gears were in place and nothing happened to Ananya. She didn’t even get a scratch,” adds our source.
