Hrithik Roshan took up union minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore on his fitness challenge and posted a video which sees him cycling, as he continues to urge fans to take part in the activity.

However, several users called out the actor for promoting unsafe practices by filming while riding a bicycle, and avoiding the helmet. One user condemned the actor, writing, “Irresponsible example to be shooting video while cycling, so many selfie deaths are a case in point @iHrithik (sic).” Another even tagged the Mumbai Police and wrote, “This is called violation of traffic rules. @MumbaiPolice what you are going to do now? @iHrithik you should have done it in open ground rather than on busy road (sic).”

One user urged Hrithik to be more careful and wrote, “Please wear a helmet while biking too and do not use mobile phone while cycling on busy streets of mumbai (sic).”

The challenge, initiated by Rathore under the hashtag #HumFitTohIndiaFit, was done to promote fitness and a healthy lifestyle.
