AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR had its first drop since release as it grossed 11.50-12 crore nett on Wednesday. The film had partial holidays on Monday and Tuesday so a 20-25% drop was a given on Wednesday but here the ticket pricing went to normal weekday rates which added to the drop. Normally this would happen on a Monday.

Despite the drop the film is still doing huge business as a near 12 crore nett total is excellent for a Wednesday and only one Hollywood release apart from Infinity War has managed this total on its first day and here its day six. The collections will stabilize on day seven and the first week should be around 157 crore nett. Then it will be second Friday which will tell where the film will go. It will be the highest grossing Hollywood film in India and go past the 200 crore nett mark but how much further can it go remains to be seen.
