No, the actress has not been caught in a legal wrangle; neither has she found herself on the wrong side of law. It’s all a part of work for Richa, who will play a lawyer — for the first time — in her next, Section 375.

Paired opposite Akshaye Khanna, she wants to slip into the lawyer’s robe effortlessly. A source close to the project says, “Richa has never witnessed a courtroom trial, and wants to understand how lawyers argue in court and try to convince the judge. She’s also meeting her lawyer friends to understand the nuances of certain sections of the Indian Penal Code, as they are a part of the film’s narrative. She believes that the knowledge will help her improvise on the set.”
