Even as Salman Khan was convicted and sentenced for five years by the Jodhpur court for killing two blackbucks in 1998, it seems the buzz around his upcoming Eid release remains unabated. We hear that Sonakshi Sinha has a special song in Race 3, which also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Daisy Shah and Saqib Saleem.

What’s more, we hear that the Dabangg girl not only has a special number, but also plays a pivotal part in the pacy thriller. “Sonakshi is actually Saqib’s love interest in the film. They meet at a club and hit it off. She has a club number and a few scenes too,” reveals our informer.

Sonakshi and Saqib are due to shoot their portions next week. The team recently wrapped up the Abu Dhabi schedule and will complete the film with another short spell in Mumbai. Says our source, “Sonakshi and Saqib’s portions including the song too will be shot then.”
