Badumbaaa, a word that Amitabh Bachchan has been using of late while tweeting about his forthcoming film 102 Not Out, is now part of a cool track in the same movie. While it’s known that Big B and Rishi Kapoor are working together in this film after a gap of 27 years, this is also the first time they have crooned a song together. While Bachchan has a number of famous numbers to his credit, this is Kapoor’s first attempt at playback.
As it’s a fun, peppy composition, a vibrant set was built in sync with its mood. A special street was created at a studio in Mumbai within a week to film the song. As the number is youthful, the director envisioned a colourful set for it replete with flowers, a young crowd and bright hues.
Talking about the sets and the song, director Umesh Shukla says, “We wanted to create a lively set for Badumbaaa. This vivacious number reflects the movie’s spirit and the characters, hence, we wanted to create a vibrant atmosphere for it.”
Moviegoers sure will have fun watching this zesty number, which will be out soon.
