Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal marked Valentine’s Day this year by kicking off work on Anurag Kashyap’s romance-drama Manmarziyaan in Amritsar where they were soon joined by co-star Abhishek Bachchan. Now, Mirror has the actress’s look from the Aanand L Rai production.

“Taapsee plays a girl from Amritsar who is a hockey enthusiast,” informs a source close to the production. Incidentally, the actress also portrays a hockey player in Shaad Ali’s Soorma alongside Diljit Dosanjh and her Pink co-star Angad Bedi.

Recently, Abhishek had recounted that during the ongoing schedule Anurag had suggested that the team go out for a quiet meal to a popular dhaba. But the plan was foiled by fans who thronged the eatery for a glimpse of the actors.

“However, despite this, the team managed to sneak out and savour some local treats. Taapsee and Anurag bonded really well. They even did CrossFit training with the same trainer Siddhartha Singh,” reveals the source, adding that Siddhartha is impressed with the duo’s dedication to fitness even after 12-hour shifts.

The coming-of-age love story is Anurag’s first brush with reel life romance and according to the source, he is totally loving it!
