Vidyut Jammwal is currently shooting for his next film Junglee, which is being directed by Hollywood filmmaker Chuck Russell (the director of The Mask, The Scorpion King). Jammwal, who is trained in martial arts, prefers doing almost all of his stunts himself, and has established himself as an action hero. Recently, while shooting for one of the many action sequences in the film, Jammwal ended up with a rather serious injury — swinging from a harness for the scene, he hit his head against a metal structure. The actor took a break to get himself treated, and soon after, though bloodied and bandaged, he continued with the shoot. “When you do real, live action, the injuries are real. You have to expect injuries,” he says.

An impressed Russell says, “I have worked with many action heroes (like Dwayne Johnson, Arnold Schwarzenegger), and Vidyut’s athleticism and the ability to do action is phenomenal. I am very impressed.”

Produced by Junglee Pictures, the film tells a unique story of a family and their relationship with elephants.
