Mirror had earlier reported (February 5) that Ali Fazal has been signed to play the lead in Tigmanshu Dhulia’s Milan Talkies which revolves around the sorry predicament of single screen theatres in the days of the multiplex.

Now, Mirror has learnt that Filmfare Award-winning actress Shraddha Srinath has also been roped in for the romantic drama. The film which kicks off in March will be shot in Lucknow, Mathura and Vrindavan.

Shraddha has worked in Malayalam, Tamil and Kannada films. In 2017, the 27-year-old actress took home the Black Lady for her performance as an intern reporter asked to follow up on a story about accidents on a Bangalore flyover in the Kannada film U-Turn.
