Shahid Kapoor, who has been appreciated for his role as Maharawal Ratan Singh in Padmaavat, has something special planned tomorrow.

The actor will be heading to Singapore for a special screening of the movie. An NGO, Food From The Heart is organising the event. The non-profit charity feeds the hungry through its food distribution programme.

Established in 2003, by Austrian couple Henry and Christine Laimer, the NGO channels surplus food from bakeries to those in need.  Says a source close to the actor, “When Shahid got to know that the screening is being organised by an NGO, he instantly agreed to attend it.” The trip will, however, be a short one. Another source confirms the news, “Yes, Shahid is flying to Singapore tonight for the screening tomorrow. He will be there only for a day.”
