SECRET SUPERSTAR has grossed $27 million apprx in its first weekend in China. This equates to around INR 170 crore. The weekend business in the country is more than the first week of DANGAL. It has emerged the top ranking film at the Chinese box office beating local film FOREVER YOUNG though that film is in its second week.

SECRET SUPERSTAR easily beat the big Hollywood releases of the week as FERDINAND grossed $9.75 million and WONDER grossed $2.75 million. DANGAL had grossed $193 million in China and next week or so will tell if this film can go anywhere near that film. PK grossed $19.75 million and that has been beaten in three days flat.
