Joining the celebrities who’ve taken to the digital medium to connect with fans is Shilpa Shetty Kundra. The actor has taken her love for the culinary arts to the next level by creating a gaming application. Domestic Diva, based on her book The Diary Of A Domestic Diva, enables players to build their own restaurant empire.

“The game tests one’s culinary skills. Players have to cook, and look after customers. They earn points by whipping up dishes and serving them as quickly as possible.”

The game, she says, has a character that resembles her, as the player belts out instructions to cook dishes from the book. The positive response that she garnered during her endeavours to appease palates, inspired the creation of this game. Hubby Raj Kundra’s nudging must also be credited.

An initial version is available for Android users ahead of the official launch this month.
