Rajkummar Rao, whose last onscreen wedding drama Bareilly Ki Barfi was a runaway hit, is hopeful of an encore with his romantic outing, Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana. When asked why a film about marriage tends to draw people's attention, he says, “I'm a huge fan of wedding ceremonies and have been attending marriages since I was a kid. A wedding in Delhi is very different from a small-town one. Marriages are one of the biggest festivals in our country. The amount of money that is spent is huge and the people who attend the ceremony are large in number. In fact, if the film's name has the word shaadi, it forms an instant connect with people. Perhaps when they attend weddings, it reminds them of their own. In our country, getting their sons and daughters married is the biggest dream of parents.“

While the actor's professional life seems to be on track, it looks like he is yet to reach a stage where he wants to make a commitment on the personal front. Probe him when he plans to tie the knot and he replies, “I don't know when I am getting married. I haven't really thought about it, but my idea of marriage is different. Whenever I get married, it will be a simple affair.“
