The
actor’s concert, scheduled for December 10, will be like a carnival with
actress Kriti Sanon and the Meet Bros as the newest entrants in the
line-up of star performers

After setting the stage on fire in London, Hong Kong, Auckland and Melbourne, Salman Khan’s Da-Bangg The Tour will begin its Indian leg at Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on December 10. An audience of 65,000 people are expected. Maniesh Paul is the host and joining the bevy of performers are new entrants Kriti Sanon and the Meet Bros — Manmeet and Harmeet Singh — who will croon chartbusters like “Main Tera Boyfriend”, “Chittiyaan Kalaiya”, “High Heels” and “Baby Doll”. Scripted and directed by Salman’s actor-producer brother Sohail, the concert will also feature a special segment during which Salman will step down from the stage to shake a leg with his fans.
Making an appearance in the tour for the first time, Kriti has her solo acts and also a special dance sequence with filmmaker-choreographer Prabhu Dheva and Sonakshi Sinha who has been regular on the tour. In the past, Bipasha Basu, rapper-composer Badshah, Jacqueline Fernandez and Akshay Kumar have made appearances on different shows.
“This show will be longer and more like a carnival since the gates are expected to open as early as 2 pm. We will have comedians and budding artists in a line-up to the Bollywood gigs. Interestingly, there were four other performances scheduled to be held in the vicinity on the same day which were all cancelled after Salman’s presence in the Capital was confirmed” a source close to the development told Mirror, adding that in the morning, the actor will have a special closed-door interaction with guests flying in from across the country and abroad.
Salman is presently hosting the 11th season of Bigg Boss, and kicked off the shoot of Race 3 on Sunday. Buzz is, the surprise guest at the Da-Bangg tour will be Sallu’s tigress Katrina Kaif, along with director Ali Abbas Zafar. But organisers are tight-lipped on the subject.
