Richa Chadha to perform stand-up comedy act across three cities

Despite the variety of roles that she has pulled off, both, before and after Fukrey (2013) , Richa Chadha continues to be revered as the feisty gangster, Bholi Punjaban, from the film. Ahead of the release of comedy’s second instalment, Chadha is planning to take the character on a three-city tour via stand-up comedy shows.
The actor tells mid-day, “We had this idea that Bholi should take to the stage. Every dialogue that she says sounds like a roast. I think there will be a demand for this. It will be fun to try out something new.”
A source adds, “A while ago, Richa explored stand-up comedy, and was loved by the audience. She has decided to take her on-screen avatar on stage with a three-city tour across Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore. Each show will be attended by about 300 people.”
