Ranveer Singh surprised the Race 3 team when he dropped by around 8pm on Sunday. Speculations were rife that he had joined the film but Mirror has learnt that the actor was doing a photoshoot at the suburban studio in Mumbai where the Salman Khan-starrer was being shot and decided to make an impromptu visit. Salman, along with his co-stars, Bobby Deol, Daisy Shah and Saqib Saleem, was filming an action sequence and Ranveer was happy to sit back and watch. Leading lady Jacqueline Fernandez kicks off her portions this week. Producer Ramesh Taurani told Mirror, "Ranveer saw the rushes and said he is looking forward to watching the film. It was fun chatting with him."

The film's team plans to wrap up the Mumbai shoot by the end of the month. This will be followed by a long schedule in Abu Dhabi in January and February. "After that we move to Bangkok around March. We will be shooting the songs there, as well as some more action sequences," Taurani said.
