Back in the ’90s, a lot of Bollywood celebrities, who weren’t big stars then, started their careers being part of several music videos.

Whether it’s Vidya Balan, John Abraham or Deepika Padukone, they have all done it. Although the music video culture has slowly and steadily died down in Bollywood, it’s still quite a rage in Punjab.

Diljit Dosanjh, Jassie Gill, Gurdaas Mann are huge stars in their own right, thanks to their popular music albums. Now, Jacqueline Fernandez, too, has been approached to be part of one such album. Says a source, “Jackie was offered to star in a Punjabi music album. Jackie’s last film, Judwaa 2, which released in September, did great business in Punjab, too, and so she was approached for one such video.”

Though Jacqueline is yet to take a call on whether she wants to be a part of the video, the makers have offered her a whopping amount. Adds the source, “She has been offered Rs 5 crore for the music video. That’s huge.” Jacqueline is currently shooting for Race 3 opposite Salman Khan.
